HOW GENERATION EQUALITY OPERATES AND WHAT WE AIM TO ACHIEVE
A core aim of Generation Equality is to have a gender-transformative impact on structures and systems. Action that enables transformative change has been defined by stakeholders in the as: dismantling patriarchal structures; addressing multiple and intersecting forms of discrimination; reducing inequalities; redistributing power; and making tangible improvements in the lives of women and girls in all their diversity.
To achieve transformative change, Generation Equality is working to embed co-creation, facilitate dialogue and the sharing of perspectives, and centre the voices of historically marginalized groups in the work of the Action Coalitions and WPS-HA Compact.
