Since its foundation, Generation Equality’s Feminist Action for Climate Justice (FACJ) Action Coalition has enabled public and private actors to work hand in hand to translate existing processes into gender and climate-responsive ones.  This unique partnership has been successfully empowering women and girls in all their diversity to take action and lead a just transition to a more inclusive and more equitable society that enables a circular, regenerative green economy. This is accomplished by amplifying women and girls’ voices and participation in decision-making and making visible their needs and abilities by advocating for direct access to finance for gender-just climate solutions, including at the grassroots level, and by increasing the collection and use of data on the gender-environment nexus.
